How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your GridRunGP account and associated data, follow these steps:
- Send an email to delete@gridrungp.com from the email address associated with your GridRunGP account
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request
- In the body of the email, confirm that you would like your account and all associated data to be permanently deleted
We will process your request and confirm deletion within 7 business days.
Data That Will Be Deleted
Upon processing your account deletion request, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your GridRunGP user profile and authentication credentials
- All GPS and location data (latitude, longitude, route data)
- Synced Strava activity data stored within GridRunGP
- Achievement progress and unlocked achievements
- Any connected service tokens (e.g., Strava authorization)
Data That Is Anonymized
To preserve the integrity of Grand Prix standings, leaderboards, and historical race results, the following data is permanently disassociated from your identity rather than deleted:
- Activity records (distance, duration, lap times) — your user identity is removed, but the aggregate performance data is retained so that team and individual standings remain accurate
- Race results and standings — historical Grand Prix results are kept for competitive integrity but are no longer linked to your account
This anonymized data cannot be used to identify you personally. No location or GPS data is retained.
Third-Party Services
Deleting your GridRunGP account does not delete your accounts on connected third-party services (such as Strava or Google). To revoke GridRunGP's access to these services:
- Strava: Go to Strava Settings > My Apps and remove GridRunGP
- Google: Go to your Google Account > Security > Third-party apps and remove GridRunGP
